And I’m at a time in my life where I’m anxious. I’m awaiting news, hopefully good news, and I’m watching the clock. I’m wishing each day away just waiting for the future. And now in my angst, I can't help but think to myself, “the station will come soon enough.” So thank you Lindsey, for writing something so touching and introducing me to something that I hope to share with my own children someday.
In the words of Mr. Hastings, “So, stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more and cry less. Life must be lived as we go along. The station will come soon enough.”
